Who this class is for
Our two and a half-hour latte art class is suitable for all beginners – whether you’re just starting out and want to learn the basics of how to steam and pour milky drinks, or you’ve been making milk-based drinks for a while and want to refine your skills.
This class is also popular with people who are curious about making specialty coffee at home. You will learn more about a coffee bar menu and how to pour the basic patterns.
What you’ll learn
In this fun and hands-on class, we’ll show you how we stretch and texture milk and teach you some tricks that will help you make beautiful milk-based beverages at home. It is our philosophy to work with plant-based milks in our shops and academy. You will learn how to hold and handle the milkpitcher, stretch you milk to the correct amount of foam, polish and pour your latte art pattern. This class covers the basic techniques and focusses on pouring your first patterns.
What to expect on the day
Our latte art class has a maximum of six participants.
You will be able to ask all your milk-related questions, making and tasting coffee throughout the session and take home a little gift from the roastery to start your specialty coffee journey at home.

What do I need to bring?
Just yourself! We’ll provide all the coffee, milk and equipment, as well as water, pens, and a brew guide with plenty of blank pages for taking notes.
Should I bring my own coffee-making equipment ?
There's no need - WAY's got you covered. We be working on a espressomachine suitable for home baristas, milk pitchers en milk is provided by us.
I don't have an espressomachine at home, i'm just curious about it. Can I attend ?
You sure can! This class is popular with people who want to learn more about coffee in general, and get more out of their cafe visits. We give you a better understanding in the world of specialty coffee and help you make better choices when buying milk related drinks.
