ABOUT

This microlot comes from the Antoquia region, produced by Jesus Maria Posada and his wife Olga on their farm La Julia. Located between 1750 and 1850 meters above sea level, near the small town of Jardin, Jesus and Olga cultivate the first half of their plots in Caturra and the second in Colombia. Most of the harvest takes place from December to January and the rest during the fly crop (mitaca) between May and June. This coffee is a blend of red Caturra and Colombia (50/50) and it was harvested during the main harvest. The cherries were fully washed then fermented in open tanks for 36 hours and then dried under sun.

La Julia

La Julia is the farm of Jesus Maria Posada and his wife Olga. Located between 1750 and 1850 meters above sea level in the south of the Antioquia region, near the small town of Jardin. Jesus and Olga cultivate the first half of their plots in Caturra and the second in Colombia. Most of the harvest takes place from December to January and the rest during the mitaca between May and June. 

 

THE STORY OF THE PRODUCER

Jesus Maria lives in the Julia farm with his wife Olga. Their son lives in Medellin for his higher education which makes his parents very proud.
